* SENIOR DINING / SEMCAC SENIOR DINING
This program hosted at SeniorPlace, offers a home-cooked meal at 11:30 A.M. Monday through Friday. A donation is encouraged, for those 60 years and older, but no one will be denied a meal because of inability to pay. Others may eat for the full cost of the meal. For a daily menu, or to make your reservation by 9:00 a.m. in the morning, call 507-455-3195. This program is made possible by a contract from the Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency on Aging (SEMAAA) with funds from the Older American's Act and the Minnesota Board on Aging.

*  LEGAL SERVICES
On the SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month a legal representative holds office hours at SeniorPlace. The representative comes from the SE Minnesota Legal services Office in Albert Lea. Hours are from 9:00 a m until 3:30 pm Appointments are necessary. Call SeniorPlace at 444-4280 to make appointment. They coordinate a quarterly WILLS CLINIC held at SeniorPlace. You will have a twenty minute appointment with a local attorney during which you may ask questions concerning your estate.

* RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
This program enables the volunteer to be actively involved in many volunteer programs such as the schools, nursing homes, Seniorplace, etc. or you may designate your preference for volunteering. Through the RSVP program you have an accident insurance policy that covers SeniorPlace; above and beyond your personal policy. You may receive mileage if applied for. (These programs enable persons of the retirement age to participate more fully in their community.)

* GREEN THUMB PROGRAM

This is a work-related program in which a senior age 55 or over receives minimum wages for a 20-hour work week. Contact the director for more information.

* INSURANCE COUNSELING

This is on an appointment basis to discuss Medicare reimbursement as well as insurance claims. Call 444-4280.

* RENTALS AT SENIORPLACE

SeniorPlace is available on a per hour rental basis for birthday or anniversary celebrations, family gatherings, baby showers, grooms dinner, wedding receptions, small meetings, card parties, etc. Call us at 444-4280 for more information.

* SCAT TRANSPORTATION
Alternative transportation for area residents. Call 451-7777 twenty-four hours in advance for a ride to any location within Steele County. A nominal fee is charged.

* TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Service provided by volunteers to assist people with simple tax forms. Call 444-4280 for an appointment.

* PEDICURE
Clinic available to all. Call 444-4280 for an appointment.
